"Dinamo" is NOT an appropriate name for a team to play out of Riga! The years, 1945-1991, do not reflect a good time for LATVIJA and its inhabitants under RUSSIAN RULE. It is quite obvious that Mr. Koziols, regardless of his 'questionable' business titles, doesn't and did not, have much input into the selection of the team name. There are so many more signifant names that he could have put forth, if in fact he was LATVIAN at heart! The funding of the team, and its main controllers are undoubtedly Russian. They have been identified in the article, and the owners are all 'under the gun'!. Mr.Koziols, at 12.8% ownership, is simply another "puppet". I feel sorry for the former NHL players, and 'former' NHLPA director Goodenow, because they are all chasing LOST careers. They, along with so many of their hockey colleagues, haven't the slightest notion of how politics and sports are interwined, especially in Europe.(Olympic and World Championship from the past, and even today!) I sincerely hope that the the Nordic countries, the Czech Republic and all other pending nations will ABSTAIN from joining the KHL!

Celebrating its 25th anniversary in December 2011, the band has been one of the hardest working—playing, in some years, hundreds of concerts, and entertaining audiences not just in Latvia, but elsewhere in the world.
