The Baltic Times, The same old soup for Latvia’s masochists
May 06, 2010 By Kira Savchenko
According to Latvia’s international lenders, economists, media and everybody else involved, for the last four years coalition parties have done nothing to prevent or turn around the tiny Baltic State’s notorious economic crisis. On the contrary, it seems like politicians put all their efforts in digging a deeper grave for a country in agony. Now, five months before the national elections, they try to reshuffle themselves and add a new dressing to get people to vote for them one more time.
Jewish-America scientist Albert Einstein allegedly said, “One definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, but expecting different results.”
