Court Finds Stalin Guilty Of Genocide

On January 13, 2010, Kyiv Court of Appeal has heard the criminal case brought up and investigated by the Security Service of Ukraine regarding perpetration of Famine-Genocide in Ukraine in 1932-1933.

The court has ruled that in 1932-1933 leaders of the Bolshevik totalitarian regime: General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union’s Central Committee Joseph Stalin (Jughashvili), Chairman of the Council of People’s Commissars Vyacheslav Molotov (Scriabin), Secretaries of the Central Committee of the Communist Party Lazar Kaganovich and Pavel Postyshev, General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Ukrainian SSR Stanislav Kosior, Chairman of the Council of People’s Commissars of the Ukrainian SSR Vlas Chubar and Second Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine Mendel Khatayevich, organized and perpetrated the genocide of the Ukrainian national group at the territory of the Ukrainian SSR, that is have artificially created conditions aiming to its partial physical destruction.

According to the results of pre-trial forensic scientific-demographic examination, conducted by the Institute of Demography and Social Studies of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the genocide perpetrated in Ukraine has killed 3 million 941 thousand persons.

The court has ruled that Stalin (Jughashvili), Molotov (Scriabin), Kaganovich, Postyshev, Kosior, Chubar and Khatayevich perpetrated the crime of genocide under part 1 of article 442 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (genocide), and in accordance with paragraph 8, part 1, aticle 6 of the Criminal Code has closed the case due to death of those found guilty of the Holodomor 1932-33.
